Lets face it.. Muskoka is beautiful all over during the Autumn season. Personally it's my favorite time of year to get out and capture some stunning landscape shots. I hope you enjoy these locations within Muskoka as much as I do. Here's my list with #1 obviously being the best!
On this beautiful Spring day I had the pleasure of hiking Wilson's Falls in Bracebridge with my best friend. This is one of my favorite hikes right in the heart of Muskoka! I often refer to most of the trail as a magical forest. The pathway along the water is actually the bank of an ancient, broader, deeper river which explains the unique beauty of this adventure. The water levels are currently very high in Muskoka causing the surrounding areas to flood. Although the current has calmed in the last few days fast moving water is still predominant.
A beautiful Spring day in Muskoka and an adventure with my best friend. We took a drive out to Milford Bay to explore on the oldest surface rocks on the planet while enjoying the great views of Lake Muskoka. I love this hiking trail because of the breathtaking scenery of Lake Muskoka from above, and the the journey to explore the alluring pink rock cut. We stopped to sit, relax and bask in the sun while we took it all in!
April showers bring May flowers. Muskoka is beautiful no matter what the season. We went for a morning plane ride over the Muskoka Lakes. Even with the rain headed our way, we traveled to the JW Marriott on Lake Rosseau (Where Jared and I got Married) and back to Muskoka Airport. It was beautiful to see how much color has already come back to the grass and forests. As we admired the views from above it made me even more excited for boating season to come!
JW Marriott Resort & Spa
Beautiful from above even on a gloomy Spring day.
